We are sad to announce the passing of a long time club & board member.  Terrance D. Cassidy, 76, of Altoona, died Tuesday July 28, 2026.  Better known to us as "Butch", he loved the outdoors.  He was an avid hunter and in his later years would set up trail cams on the property and capture the adventures of the wildlife. Butch was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969-73. He retired as the purchasing manager at James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center. He was well known at the club as the official judge for the Turkey Shoots. God rest his soul +

The Bellwood Sportsman's Club is reaching out to request your support for an important improvement project that directly benefits our members and the community we serve.

Our club is currently undertaking two (2) bridge replacement and repair projects on club property. The bridges are essential for safe access to our grounds and facilities, and their completion is critical to maintaining the safety and functionality of the club for sporting events, youth programs, and community activities.

Unfortunately, the cost of materials and construction exceeds our current budget. We are seeking donations to help cover these expenses and ensure the projects can be completed properly and safely.

Any contribution-large or small-will make a meaningful difference. Donations may be made in the form of monetary contributions. All donations will go directly toward the bridge projects.

Thank you for your time and support.

Sincerely, Jim Morder, Treasurer
